At the moment FC Barcelona, as they have won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League in the past seasons, while Real Madrid have gone 3 years without a trophy. Before that then it would be Real Madrid, as they won the UEFA Champions League in the early 21st century, and were also voted as the best side in the 20th century
Historically, and looking at the awards won Real Madrid win that battle, as they have won: - a record 9 European Cups, a record 29 La Liga titles, Intercontinental Cup 3 times, UEFA Cup 2 times, and Copa Del Rey 17. This is compared to FC Barcelona who have won: - 18 La Liga titles, Copa Del Rey 24 times, UEFA Champions League 2 times. |
